POSITION SUMMARY

Senior Industrial Control System ICS Cybersecurity Engineer role will focus on designing generating proposing implementing and following through actions related to protecting industrial control systems in critical infrastructure and key resource in JIGPC. This role will be maintaining servicing and governing the industrial control systems security operations including servers applications networks and devices deployed within the industrial control system boundaries.

This role maintains the company’s end to end OT cybersecurity and risk services.

Senior ICS Cybersecurity Engineer scope includes the following

• ICS network design and support
• ICS interfaces
• OT systems administration
• Security patching and systems maintenance
• Vulnerability management
• Threat detection and incident response
• Security awareness training
• Risk assessment

• PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To work with control system SMEs and operational staff to design implement and support the security of ICS networked systems including
    • Security technologies such as firewall logs IDS endpoint security solutions access control systems and other related security technologies within ICS environment.
    • Incident response and handling in an ICS environment to include investigating computer and network intrusions remediation support performing comprehensive computer surveillance monitoring identifying vulnerabilities developing secure network designs and protection strategies and audits of information security infrastructure.
    • • Lead security maintenance and administration efforts of internal ICS infrastructure utilizing strong understanding of ICS environments.
      • Support all OT systems in ICS environment.
      • Maintains the compliant cybersecurity ICS architecture of the plants as per the local regulatory bodies.
      • Responsible for completion of the ICS DR recovery Plans work with the local I C team to populate and maintain the plan as per JIGPC standards.
      • Actively manage and coordinate DR testing schedules objectives exercises and reviews.
      • Collect and document information about current systems at each site including control applications hardware network and infrastructure and their dependences.
      • Ensure the plan is tested as per the schedule in the DRP.
      • Maintain compliance with JIGPC and national regulations with regards to ICS cybersecurity.
      • Participate in ICS security incident response through all phases.
      • Consult on ICS security matters as required.
      • Act as a liaison between operations and JIGPC IT security teams.
      • Design implement and manage innovative solutions for ICS infrastructure environments.
      • Contribute to the development and implementation of team policies procedures and controls covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedures legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality cost effective service.

      • SKILLS

        • Professional level certifications in ITSM such as ITIL COBIT or ISO20000 Certified or equivalent.
        • Relevant industrial certifications are required.
        • Extensive experience with operational technologies such as Programmable Logic Controllers PLCs Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition SCADA software and Distributed Control Systems DCS .
        • Excellent understanding of IT and OT network communication protocols including TCP IP UDP DNP3 Modbus IEC 61850 OPC OPC UA and PROFINET.
        • Excellent problem solving and analytic skills.

        • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

          • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or any related specialization.
          • A track record of successful accomplishments.
          • Minimum of 8 years previous experience working in ICS cybersecurity.
          • Extensive security network design and support experience.
          • Advanced level knowledge of multiple industrial hardware and software platforms.
          • Practical knowledge of current local regulations laws related to cybersecurity.
